On Wednesday night, Orlando had 14 inches of rain and 60 mph gusts from Hurricane Ian.
In Orlando, the Universal Resort was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. The Incredible Hulk Coaster,
whose lower tracks are often suspended over the park's lagoon, is among the many portions of the park that are submerged several feet under water.
The I-4 Express close to the park, the walkway leading to the resort's CityWalk and Portofino restaurant,
and the entrance to the neighboring Double Tree by Hilton hotel were all swamped by floodwaters.
The biggest damage caused by Ian may have been the enormous hole that was blasted
through the side of the enormous structure that housed Jurassic Park River Adventure.
Moreover, On Sanibel Island, a hurricane has killed at least two people and destroyed portions of the causeway.
At least five pieces of the Sanibel Causeway were lost to the hurricane on Thursday night.
